Peter Grandich - Founder, Grandich Publications, LLC
|
|
With no formal education or training, Peter Grandich entered Wall Street and within three years was appointed Vice President of Investment Strategy for a leading New York Stock Exchange member firm. A prolific and often-quoted writer, he edited and published four investment newsletters.
Labeled the Wall Street Whiz Kid, Grandich gained national notoriety by being among the very few who not only forecasted the 1987 stock market crash just weeks before it happened, but on the very next day he predicted that within a year the market would reach a new all-time high – which it did. Proving his 1987 forecast was no fluke, Mr. Grandich said in January 2000 that the year 2000 will go down as the year the great mega bull market of the 80s and 90s came to an end.
He appears almost daily in the financial media on TV, radio, the web and in print. Grandich also speaks at major investment conferences worldwide and has been awarded Best Speaker Award eight times.
Grandich is the founder and managing member of Grandich Publications, LLC (www.Grandich.com ), which publishes The Grandich Letter. First published in 1984, The Grandich Letter provides commentary on the mining and metals markets, discusses the Canadian economy and investments from an American point of view, and provides commentary on the world's markets and economies. Grandich Publications also provides a variety of services to publicly-held corporations on a compensation basis.
Peter Grandich is co-founder of Trinity Financial, Sports & Entertainment Management Co., a financial services firm with a Christian perspective. Trinity (www.TrinityFSEM.com ) serves the public-at-large and has a unique Pro Sports Division that assists athletes and entertainers in the creation and management of wealth.
In addition, Grandich is a member of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants, and a long-standing member of The New York Society of Security Analysts and The Society of Quantitative Analysts.
Peter Grandich lives in Manalapan, NJ with his wife, Mary, and daughter, Tara.

Niogold Mining Corp.
|
|
NioGold Mining Corporation is a Canadian mineral exploration company with a primary focus on Gold. The company trades on the TSX Venture Exchange, symbol NOX. NioGold has consolidated a large 70 km² land package in the prolific Malartic and Val-d’Or mining camps, located in the Abitibi region of Quebec. The Abitibi is host to a number of current and former world-class gold producers yielding more than 170M ounces of gold since the early 1900’s. The combined historic production from the Malartic and Val-d’Or camps totals over 25M ounces of gold and presently encompass several active advanced exploration and mine development projects such as Canadian Malartic (Osisko), Kiena (Wesdome), Midway (Northern Star Mining), Lapa/Goldex (Agnico-Eagle) and Lac Herbin (Alexis Minerals).
Defining Gold Resource
Advanced-stage exploration in the Malartic & Val-d’Or Gold Camps
NioGold's land holdings include former gold producers and undeveloped gold zones that offer the opportunity to rapidly define mineral resources. The grounds also cover large under-explored sectors located along known mineral trends deemed highly prospective by NioGold for new gold discoveries. The Company is focusing its efforts on the Marban Block property where historic production amounted to 592,000 ounces of gold. The depth extension of the gold system on the Marban Block represents “blue sky” potential as very limited drilling has occurred below 500 m vertical depth. Gold mines in the Malartic and Val-d’Or camps typically extend to depth of over 1,000 m. www.NioGold.com

Probe Mines Limited
|
|
Probe Mines Limited is a Canadian base and precious metal explorer led by an experienced management team. The Company has assembled a portfolio of quality projects, including the very active McFauld's Lake area base metal projects in Northern Ontario and the Bristol Township gold project in the Timmins West camp. In addition, Probe holds a gold production royalty on a portion of Agnico-Eagle's Goldex project in Val d'Or, Quebec, which is scheduled to commence production in 2008 and represents a potential revenue stream for the company. The Company's strategy is to aggressively explore its key assets to maximize shareholder value, while joint venturing out non-core assets to advance exploration and preserve capital.
Probe is currently focused on the McFauld's Lake area where it owns 931 claims covering almost 15,000 hectares. This includes a 100% interest in the McFauld's West Project, comprised of 12 claims (192 hectares) situated less than 450 metres from the site of Noront's significant new nickel-copper discovery, representing one of the closest properties to the discovery. Field operations are currently underway on the McFauld's West property with the ground grid established and mobilization of Insight Geophysics' field crews expected shortly.
The Insight survey will have an effective depth penetration of up to 400 metres, and will cover two priority magnetic anomalies identified on Probe's claims.
One of these magnetic targets has a coincident nickel-copper-cobalt-silver-gold soil geochemical anomaly recentlydelineated by Probe. The soil geochemical survey returned a consistent anomalous profile of base and precious metal response ratios of up to 9.1, 36, 18 and 14.5 times background, for nickel, copper, silver, cobalt respectively, while gold consistently showed values of 4 times background. The Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) technique employed for the analysis considers values of 2 anomalous and values of 5 significantly anomalous.
The geophysical program will be followed by diamond drilling.
